Delegating care of my child in the event of hospitalization

"I am wondering if there is any easy way to ensure my husband and mother will have the rights to care for my daughter if I have to be put in the hospital?"

There is a sample form on the website "Emergency Child Medical Form" which we developed for just that purpose. Its really not clear that it will be accepted, but it seems that its the best step you can take for a non-parent to have authority to deal with a child.
